Privacy policy

Who is responsible
Pinky is currently provided by Leandro Peixoto, based in Portugal. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. This policy covers the Pinky iPhone app, its widget, this website and beta testing.
Your game saves and iCloud
Pinky does not require a Pinky account. Puzzle progress, answers, hints, streaks, settings, language and appearance choices are saved on your device. The app shares limited game information with its home-screen widget through local shared storage. We do not operate our own server that receives your puzzle history. If you enable iCloud progress, daily results, unfinished puzzles and bonus progress are stored in your private Apple CloudKit database and merged across devices using the same iCloud account. Settings, purchases and leaderboard sharing consent are not included. Turning sync off keeps existing local and iCloud saves; you can manage iCloud data through Apple’s settings. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings. Removing the app removes its local data; backups and Apple-managed records are controlled separately.
Optional Apple services
Game Center: if you use it, achievements are sent to Apple. Joining a leaderboard separately opts you into sending your Perfect Days total for that language to Apple. You can stop future score submissions from this installation in Pinky; previously submitted scores remain in Game Center. Your Game Center profile and scores may be visible to other players under Apple’s sharing settings. Manage this in iPhone Settings → Game Center. See Game Center & Privacy.
Pinky Plus: Apple processes purchases and payments. Pinky checks Apple-signed transaction information to unlock and restore your purchase. We do not receive your card or banking details. Apple retains purchase records under its own policies. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Reminders and sharing
Reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your device. You can change permission in iPhone Settings → Notifications → Pinky. Sharing results opens the system share sheet: you choose what to send and where. The receiving service handles anything you share under its own privacy terms.
TestFlight beta testing
Apple collects beta usage and crash information and shares it with us through TestFlight. If you send feedback, Apple may also share the message, screenshots and your contact details. We use this information to investigate issues and improve Pinky. Public-link testers’ names and emails are not shown to us unless provided separately. See TestFlight & Privacy. Stop participating through the TestFlight app if you no longer want to test.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include. We use this information to reply, provide support and investigate reported issues. Do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information. Support messages are kept only as needed to handle the request and any related follow-up, unless a longer period is required by law. Our email provider processes messages to deliver and store them.
This website
This website does not include advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms or our own tracking cookies. Images and fonts are served with the site. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process connection information such as IP addresses, request details and technical logs to deliver and protect the website. Links to other services, including Apple and your email provider, are governed by those services’ policies.
Your privacy choices and rights
We use support information to respond to your request and maintain the app, and operational information to deliver and secure the website. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information we hold, and object to relevant processing. Email us using the contact above. We cannot directly change records controlled by Apple or other services. You may also complain to your data protection authority; in Portugal this is the CNPD. Learn more about your EU data protection rights.
Updates
We will update this page if Pinky’s features or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest version.
